STEP 05 / 06

Monitor activity

See what happens after access is granted.

Configuration describes what an agent can do. Activity records help explain what it actually did. Define which tool calls and data access events matter, then make them available for review and investigation.

What to observe

  • Which agent and identity called a tool, when the call happened and whether access was allowed.
  • Unexpected destinations, unusual exports and access outside the intended workflow.
  • Changes in activity after a new integration, permission update or model change.

A practical example

A reporting agent normally reads a small set of business records. A sudden attempt to export a much larger dataset to a new destination should be visible to the team responsible for that workflow. Agree on alert ownership and investigation steps in advance.

The result

A practical monitoring plan covering useful events, review responsibilities and response actions. Record metadata where possible and avoid copying secrets or sensitive record contents into logs.

A focused aioscope audit helps identify gaps and define next steps. Implementation, ongoing monitoring and any testing are agreed separately within an authorised scope.
